ADMISSION TO BACHELOR STUDY PROGRAMMES 2013

Candidates to Bachelor study programmes are admitted based on the average grades of the candidate in the Baccalaureate examination, in decreasing order, within the limit of available places; this is the sole competition criterion.
Admission is organized in two stages:
Stage I:
- Registration of candidates: 10.06.2013 - 31.07.2013
- Publication of list of admitted candidates: 01.08.2013
Mandatory payment of first tuition tax (minimum 25 % of the total tuition tax): 01.08.2013- 14.08.2013.
Stage II:
- Registration of candidates: 01.08.2013 - 27.09.2013
- Publication of list of admitted candidates: 28.09.2013
Mandatory payment of first tuition tax (minimum 25 % of the total tuition tax): 28.09.2013- 05.10.2013.
REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS:
- Registration Form (from the faculty secretariat).
- Baccalaureate diploma (original and a certified copy).
- Student transcript.
- Bachelor diploma – a certified copy (for the students who intend to follow the courses of a second faculty).
- A certificate for the recognition of studies, for foreign candidates of Romanian ethnics from other countries and for candidates from the Republic of Moldova.
- A certificate of language proficiency, for foreign candidates.
- A certified copy of the birth certificate.
- A copy of the identity card.
- A certified copy of the marriage certificate (if applicable).
- A medical certificate issued by the general practitioner.
- Four photos, identity card dimensions.
- Receipt confirming payment of registration fee.
- A file folder.

The tuition fee shall be paid in lei, according to the NBR exchange rate on the payment day, either in full or in 2-3 instalments. Discounts are granted to candidates from the same family, as well as to Bachelor graduates of another faculty. The top four students of the full-time mode, ranked according to study results, benefit from a 20% discount of the tuition fee during their studies.
Useful information:
The structure of the education plan ensures the theoretical and practical training of future professionals according to current and future requirements in the field of philology. Besides the specialized courses, a special focus is placed on the development of applied informatics knowledge, as well as on internships in renowned companies and institutions in related fields.
The faculty cooperates with similar foreign faculties and organizes exchanges of students and teaching staff under the “ERASMUS” programme and other bi-lateral agreements.
Employment opportunities:
The graduates of this faculty, philologists specialized in the field of foreign languages, may find employment as pre-university or university teachers, translators, interpreters, human resources professionals, as well as employees of embassies and other institutions.
